What a STUNNING wedding! I’m so excited to share some highlights from Kelly and MJ’s special day. Henry and I originally met MJ and Kelly through med school, and we enjoyed getting to know them better through the process of shooting their engagement session and being a part of wedding planning. They are both such kind, thoughtful individuals and it was an absolute joy to work with them.
Their wedding day began at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Toledo where everyone got ready and Kelly and MJ shared their first look. The ceremony was held at St. John XXIII, following which we went to the Toledo Museum of Art for pictures. I will never get tired of shooting at the museum–it’s white marble steps and columns are so elegant and stately! We ended the day at the Toledo Zoo, which was sooo fun! I have been made a permanent fan of zoo weddings. 🙂 The zoo was especially meaningful for Kelly and MJ because they shared their senior prom together there much earlier in their relationship–we even got to recreate a picture from their prom!
