Nathan and Lauren were the best to work with! They are a super sweet couple, and we have several mutual friends. I took their engagement pictures at their venue, Scale Haus, the summer before they got married. Scale Haus is a popular wedding location in Zanesville, Ohio. It is a working farm and the home of the regionally famous Rittberger Meats. The farm features several white barns with indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. Inside one of the barns is a rustic reception area complete with a cozy fireplace. Nathan and Lauren’s ceremony took place outside on the lawn in front of a tall, white barn. It was really sweet to watch them exchange vows and be joined in marriage! Their guests threw rose petals as they exited the ceremony.
My favorite photos of the day came from golden hour in a nearby pasture. The sun was perfect, and Lauren looked like a princess! I’m so glad I had the opportunity to photograph their wedding day.
